SH Hotels & Resorts says the Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley will open March 1, marking the brand’s entry into the U.S. market.
Located in Sunnyvale, Calif., the Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley will initially debut with 111 rooms, with accommodations eventually expected to expand to 254 rooms.
James Beard Award-winning chef Stephanie Izard will oversee the property’s main restaurant, Valley Goat, which will offer a rotating menu of shareable plates. The hotel will also be home to the Beer Garden, which will serve over 30 craft beers as well as cocktails and biodynamic wines.
Other amenities: an outdoor heated pool, 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and complimentary bike access.
SH Hotels & Resorts launched the Treehouse Hotels lifestyle concept in 2019 with the opening of the Treehouse Hotel London. The brand will open a second U.K. outpost in Manchester next year, with projects in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Adelaide, Australia also in the pipeline.
SH Hotels & Resorts says Treehouse “was founded on the ideas that inspire a child to build a treehouse. Adventure, independence, cozy spaces and repurposing crafty things are what make a place warm and special. That’s why every Treehouse Hotel celebrates found objects, nostalgic tunes, handmade details and locally sourced treats.”
In addition to Treehouse, SH Hotels & Resorts’ brands include the 1 Hotels and Baccarat.
